I feel so proud every time I hear and see Room 7 doing the Ko Wairarapa haka.
If you have been in to collect your children at 3.00pm lately you will have noticed the whole school out practicing our Wairarapa haka Ko Wairarapa. We are preparing to be part of the world record attempt for the most people doing the haka together. This will be held in Memorial Park in Masterton on 8 September at 12.00pm. The record is a little over 4,000 which was achieved in France. This is an opportunity to bring the record home to New Zealand where it belongs. If you wish to learn the haka and be part of the record attempt you are welcome to join us at 2.50pm each afternoon. It is shaping up to be a memorable experience for the children.
