Friday - What was Miss Burt up to in Porirua? =) I attended a great maths course on the fundamentals of basic facts...I enjoy going to courses and it's always good to come away and think "I'm actually already doing most of that" ...

Gorgeous Douglas - in the morning Douglas is brilliant at leading the whole class in the school karakia.
He is also getting very good at leading us in the Ko Wairarapa Haka.
Good on you Dougie!

 Hockey Festival fun:

Last Tuesday we had a great time playing hockey in our teams. The festival went very well, with all children participating in short hockey games against their fellow syndicate teams.
Thanks to Sharon from Hockey Wairarapa for running this - a good and tiring morning was had by all.

Ask your child what team they were in:
LIGHTSTICKS, THE PHOENIX, BLACK DEMONS, THE DESTROYERS...

We also had the unveiling of our new GREYTOWN SCHOOL sign....Esther in our class has been a part of the team who painted and decorated the letters:
