A small message from me about the Child Cancer Foundation - a charity very close to my heart.
Here is Brad with some amazing New Zealander named Dan ;)
Brad's win a wish was to meet the All Blacks.
In 2008 my dear nephew Brad was a year 4 student at our school, on a Tuesday in August we got the horrendous news that he had been diagnosed with a stage 4 cancerous brain tumour.
Brad is now a strapping 17 year old and doing so well. He has had to have lots of follow up treatments, has lost some of his hearing and some other health issues - but we have him!
The Child Cancer Foundation were incredible to Brad & his family. I was a part of this and saw everything they did for my family at a tme their world had  been turned upside down.

KIA KAHA - Bully free. Here is Room 7 working with Constable Keely. We had some fantastic discussion about what bullying is and what we can do if we are or know of someone being bullied.

Here is Douglas doing his good handwriting - he had a visit to show Mr Preston to show his good work!

Douglas's Principal Award - well done Douglas =)

A gorgeous moment with Douglas - we had a special morning tea last Wednesday for our support staff. So I spent morning tea time with Douglas, Tyah & Niysa. We had an inside picnic.

Tyah & Niysa enjoying our inside picnic.

Charlie and  his amazing art work - self portrait with zentangle art patterns about to be added to it.
Charlie worked very diligently on this. His finished art was a good example to show the other children.

Playing one of our favourite maths games at the moment - 21 - get your child to tell you how this works.
We also played 'Buzz' a maths game you might remember from when you were at school. You count from 0 and say buzz when it is the multiple of the times table you are doing eg: 2x 5 x 10 x
HOCKEY SKILLS with Sharon. Enjoy the photos.

ATLAS WORK in Room 7 - where is Ohakune? Where is Jacob?

The winners - Fergus and Ava were the first children to find Ohakune on the NZ map.
We spent a good amount of time finding different places on the NZ map - we worked out where Greytown is to where Ohakune is.

FOUND IT!!!! Well done Harrison and Niysa - this time they have found Christchurch.
