Week 9 in Room 7 - term 3

Wow - 1 week left of term 3. What a busy term it has been, with a huge variety of things happening in Room 7 - you just have to look around the room to see all the busy-ness ;)

WOW show - this Tuesday night. Please drop your child to Room 7 about 6.10pm. The show starts at 6.30pm so you want to be seated by then.
3 classes start the show with a song - along with some individual singers - Abigail & Sam T from Room 7 feature =)
Room 6 will then catwalk.......followed by THE CIRCUS - Room 7. . .
The children watched all the classes yesterday and it's great to see the variety of costumes.
We do our catwalk - then we go back to Room 7 - we join everyone in the hall for the last song.

Room 7 hosted Totara syndicate's assembly on Tuesday - well done to the students who spoke.
And well done to Imogen, Xaivier & Abby who read or had their descriptive weather writing read out.
MR SHARP. Sam T has been using his self-management skills a lot recently.
I talk a lot to the students about managing themselves and doing things for and by themselves.
On Tuesday before syndicate assembly - Sam came up to me and said "Shall I hand the tokens out to the teachers?" - This was brilliant as I'd clean forgotten about the SHARP tokens....so good on you Sam!

Getting ready ---- for syndicate assembly.

Riley doing his maths.

On Wednesday it was Mr Mackay's birthday - lovely notes written to him.

Our blurb for our WOW Circus walk on..
Thank you to Imogen & Sadie for helping Miss Burt to write this.
Roll up, roll up for the amazing Room 7 colourful circus.
There’s lots to see, like jazzy clowns, a rolling ringmaster, amazing acrobats, cheeky monkeys, scary knife throwers, lion tamer….& much much more!
These costumes have been made from bits and bobs from around our homes & environment.
The circus is a BRIGHT, VIBRANT place where you have lots of laughs and fun.
FILLED with individuality - a bit like our classroom.
We are all unique.
We are all colourful.
We are all fun.
We are all exciting
-Sit back, relax and enjoy the fun of the circus.

SUPER SOUP DAY - thank you to Ms Briggs, the Enviro group & the parents that helped make the yummy pumpkin soup.

Abigail, Jayden, Angus, Sadie, Olivia & Sam T - well done for bringing your cups. Glad you got to enjoy the wonderful healthy soup =)

The rest of the school will also be in mufti on Friday- gold coin donation. (This money goes to Child Cancer) A charity of my own heart. When my nephew Brad went through cancer treatment for a very serious brain tumour - Child Cancer were absolutely incredible. Nothing was a problem for them - the support my brother, nephew & their family got was amazing.
Seeing this charity in action first hand was a real eye opener.

This is Brad my gorgeous nephew - with some gorgeous man =)

Lonely Tuesday.....

Poor Cuddles got left behind this afternoon - lucky I discovered him stuck in his black bag.
As I type, Cuddles is all tucked up in a warm blanket with Minnie & Mickey mouse as company.

I hope they don't get into too much mischief overnight ;)
Cuddles watching Miss Burt work - he wasn't too keen on doing any data entry for me. Hmmph!!!!

Miss Burt might give this a go this weekend ;)
